Reem Almaghrabi is American Board certified in Medicine and Infectious Diseases. She did the infectious diseases fellowship followed by transplant Infectious Diseases at the University of Pittsburgh, afterwhich she joined King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center at Riyadh Saudi Arabia as Consultant Infectious Diseases.

Dr. Almaghrabi's main research interest is in gram negative resistance, she authored and co-authored several publications during her training at Pittsburgh in addition to infections post solid organ transplant in particular donor derived infections. Dr.Almagrabi currently leading the antimicrobial stewardship program at King Faisal Specialist Hopsital and Research Center and running the transplant Infectious Diseases service in the same hospital. She is also and Associate professor at Alfasial University.
